June 29 (Reuters) - Asset manager Fidelity is once again seeking to list and trade shares of its Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund, according to a filing by listing exchange Cboe Global Markets with the U.S.
Securities and Exchange Commission.

June 18 (Reuters) - Binance has issued a cease and desist order to "Binance Nigeria Limited", Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said in a tweet on Sunday, calling the Nigerian company a "scammer entity".

Fed Chair Jerome Powell said on May 19 it was still unclear if U.S.

interest rates will need to rise further, and the risks of overtightening or undertightening had become more balanced.

The moves have revived investor interest in cyptocurrencies, which have been in the doldrums after a series of crypto company meltdowns including the sudden collapse of exchange FTX late last year.

Compounding negative sentiment has been increased regulatory scrutiny, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's move this month to sue crypto giants Coinbase Global and Binance, alleging violation of its rules. The pair deny the allegations.

"Paysafe and Binance are now working to mutually implement an orderly and fair process to terminate this service over the next few months," Paysafe said in a email to Reuters.

Chris Dixon, founder and managing director of the firm's a16z crypto fund, which is setting up the office, said it has ‘become clear that the Government sees the promise of web3' - a transformation of the nature of the internet, based on blockchain.

Crude oil edged higher but gains were tempered by a report that the United States and Iran were close to a nuclear deal, although denials from both parties kept it off the previous session's lows.

Leading crypto asset bitcoin dipped 0.2% to $26,450 after crypto exchange Binance said it was suspending dollar deposits and would soon pause fiat currency withdrawal channels following a U.S.

Securities and Exchange Commission crackdown.

If a trader owns the coins of any cryptocurrency, say, XYZ, currently trading for $50 per coin. He also places a trailing stop for $10, which will sell the crypto assets if it drops to $10 from its current high.
As the prices of ABC climb to $60, the trader's sell limit order is triggered, selling his coins, and cancelling his trailing stop. He believes that the rates of coins are undervalued, and expects the price to reach another $40.

To make sure he locks in the gains from trading, the trader places a sell limit order for $60, the maximum price at which he wishes to hold the crypto coins.

But it is also the latest sign of global firms alighting on Britain as the Government seeks to boost its tech credentials - offsetting some of the recent doom and gloom about London's status as a financial centre as firms up sticks for New York.


Ethereum -
Ethereum continues to hold its crown as the largest altcoin. Ethereum is a decentralized open-source blockchain underlining smart contract functionality.



Ethereum has the biggest market capitalization following the leader bitcoin.

BlackRock, the world's biggest asset manager, filed last week for the exchange which would allow investors to get stakes in the asset class. The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that EDX Markets, a crypto exchange backed by Citadel Securities, Fidelity and Schwab had started operations.

Over in Europe, the STOXX 600 index lost 0.13%, but MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan jumped 0.74% overnight.
Combined with gains on Wall Street, the MSCI's broadest index of world stocks added 0.18% at a 13-month high. For the week, the index for world stocks might notch a 0.6% rise.

The industry has been hit by a loss of investor confidence and heightened regulatory scrutiny this year after a series of collapses at major crypto firms in 2022 left investors saddled with losses.

On Thursday, ratings agency Moody's changed its outlook of Coinbase to "negative" from "stable," citing the potential impact of the SEC's lawsuit.

Shares of Coinbase were last down 1.9% to $53.85.

Helped by a 5.7% surge in Tesla Inc, the S&P 500 jumped 0.4% to levels last seen in August, the Nasdaq Composite added 0.6%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average trailed with a 0.3% gain.
